An Open Letter to Northside ISD Staff and Parents From Superintendent Brian Woods: As you know, we are cooperating in an investigation with local and federal law enforcement of an anonymous threat to a San Antonio area elementary school. As soon as we received the threat we engaged internal and external law enforcement for advice and assistance. While we are told that the credibility of the threat is low, we have and will continue to take it seriously.

This message is to inform you that within the past few days area agencies became aware of a threat being made toward a San Antonio-area elementary school. The threat was not specific to any particular school, but did allude to possible violence being committed on the morning of April 24. While this may well be a hoax, we have to treat the threat seriously.
